This ultra-feminine low wedge Carmen espadrille has a convenient clip-on ankle strap that makes putting them on and taking them off that much easier. Materials: The wedge soles are made of jute thread and recycled textile fibers from Barcelona. The canvas is 100% cotton. All products are sewn by hand and manufactured with organic materials.
Features:
History: The Lola espadrille with laces, also known as the Valenciana, is the very first Spanish wedge espadrille ever designed. The Carmen espadrille has the same features as the original but instead of laces it has a clip-on ankle strap.
Trivia: Did you know? Espadrilles have been made in Occitania region (France), Catalonia and all over Spain, where they were the usual peasant footwear since the 14th century at least.
